Annotation. The article deals with the problems of the distance learning process for students-future civil aviation specialists. In the context of a pandemic that threatens global stability, the transition to the remote format of teachers and students from all over the world has been made. The author examines the factors that contribute to a decrease in the quality of education and the ways out of this situation so that the remote learning format does not affect the expected results. The article notes that in conditions of distance, a parallel formation of descriptors of communicative and informational competencies occurs phenomenally. This symbiosis, according to the author, is a necessary condition for the successful maintenance of the level of education quality as a process of pedagogical cooperation at the “teacher-student” level.
