Abstract. The purpose of considering the use of interactive methods in online teaching professional English is to develop interpersonal communication of all participants in the educational process. Indeed, in the context of distance learning, it is very important to maintain students’ interest in classes through the mutual exchange of information.
The peculiarity of interactive learning is that it provides for the active dominance of students in the learning process, the role of the teacher is reduced to the direction of their activities to achieve the set goals of the lesson.
