Abstract. This article is an overview material on the problem of vibration of turboprop engines of the De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q-400 aircraft, and the Active Noise and Vibration Suppression (ANVS) system, designed to reduce the noise level in the aircraft cabin and reduce vibration to the level of turbojet airliners.
