Abstract. In the article foreign language teaching intensive method are considered. The article presents various unique techniques developed in the twentieth century, which do not lose their relevance and are used today. Their advantages and disadvantages are also analyzed, which will help the teacher in choosing the most suitable for composition his course of study.
