Abstract. The purpose of considering the application of case-study methods in the form of watching a video in professional English lessons is to develop interpersonal communication for all participants in the educational process. Indeed, in conditions of situational learning, it is very important to maintain the interest of students through the mutual exchange of information in a professional environment.
The peculiarity of learning on the example of a video excerpt is that it contributes to the involvement of students in an active role-playing situation on a given topic, and the teacher directs their activities to achieve the goals of the lesson.
