Abstract. The article describes the essence of the client-oriented approach in the activities of the enterprise. To assess customer orientation, a company study was conducted and a customer survey, which showed their preferences. The current economy still lacks the necessary prerequisites (both on the supply side and on the demand side) for the active development of the business services sector, which includes logistics.
Local domestic companies for the most part have limited financial resources, and the high-tech industries of the “new economy” (electronic computer and communication technologies), which form the material equipment (substrate) and the necessary assortment variety of business services, in the face of insufficient government support, are in a state of stagnation. The starting point in developing a logistics strategy should be a deep understanding of the requirements of end customers.
